Replacement Trolley Wheels for Every Job

Browse our range of trolley wheels, from small wheels for catering carts to large 280mm and 290mm wheels for sack trucks and platform trolleys. Whether you're refitting a fleet or replacing a single worn wheel, you'll find replacement trolley wheels here to keep your equipment moving.

A trolley is only as good as its wheels. Worn or seized wheels make moving goods harder than it should be, so a fresh set of replacement wheels is one of the cheapest ways to restore smooth and reliable movement to hard-working equipment.

Every product is listed with its key featureswheel diameter, width, bore size and rated load capacity — making it easy to match against the wheel you're replacing before you purchase.

Different Types of Trolley Wheels

The wheel material is the biggest choice you'll make, and each of the different types suits different surfaces and purposes:

Rubber Trolley Wheels

Our most popular sort. A black solid rubber tyre gives good grip, absorbs vibration and delivers quieter operation than harder materials — ideal for retail, hospitality and anywhere noise matters.

Solid rubber is also puncture-free by nature, so it's a robust, maintenance-free choice for sack trucks moving between indoor and outdoor areas.

Nylon and Polypropylene Wheels

Hard-wearing plastic wheels in nylon or polypropylene offer low rolling resistance and easy cleaning, and they're resistant to water, oils and many chemicals. A strong choice for warehouse trolleys and wet environments.

Polyurethane Wheels

Polyurethane combines the floor protection of rubber with much higher strength, giving durable, long-lasting performance under demanding daily use in factories and manufacturing settings.

Metal Wheels

For the toughest jobs, metal wheels in steel or cast iron are built to withstand heavy loads and high temperatures. Where floor protection matters less than pure strength, nothing else comes close.

How to Measure Replacement Trolley Wheels

Matching a replacement wheel takes three measurements, and it's worth a minute to check each one:

Wheel diameter — measure straight across the wheel. Larger wheels roll more easily and handle rough surfaces better, so if your trolley struggles over thresholds, sizing up can help.

Width — the tread face of the wheel. A wider tread spreads weight and protects softer floors.

Bore and axle — the hole through the centre must match your axle diameter. If the sizes don't quite line up, reducing bushes from our fixings range bridge the gap for a secure fit.

Details like hub length can matter on some equipment too — if you're unsure, send us the measurements (a photo helps) and we'll match it for you.

Bearings: The Key to Smooth Running

The bearing determines how easily a loaded wheel turns. Plain bearings are simple and dependable for lighter use.

A roller bearing reduces the effort needed to get heavy loads moving — the right choice for trolleys and trucks in constant use.

For the smoothest performance of all, our metal centre wheels with precision bearings deliver effortless smooth running even when fully laden, and they're built for years of reliability.

Wheels for Trolleys, Carts and Sack Trucks

Customers use our trolley wheels across warehouses, factories, commercial kitchens and countless small businesses.

Typical applications include platform trolleys, sack trucks, warehouse carts, catering and tea trolleys, garment rails, and all kinds of wheeled devices used to operate a busy workplace.

Moving goods by hand every day? The right combination of wheel material and bearing makes the work genuinely easier — and your floors, ears and back will thank you.

Need Complete Castors Instead?

This collection is for wheels only — the rolling part that fits your existing brackets. If you need the complete assembly, our wheels and castors ranges include swivel, fixed and braked models, right up to heavy duty castors for industrial equipment.

Not sure which you need? If the bracket on your trolley is in good condition, a replacement wheel is the economical fix; if it's worn or bent, a complete castor is the better investment.
